I don't like psychoanalytic workshops.  Any such workshops should be 
based on psychological engineering: Cognitive Therapy [David Burns] and 
Anthony Robbins-style material is reasonable.  I don't really have 
knowledge of NLP and DHE, so I can't really comment on those.
This is based on personal experience: 6 weeks of learning psychological 
engineering did more for my mental health than 15+ years of psychotherapy.
