I think we're in similar boats.  It turns out that, under suitable 
definitions, "chaotic" behavior can occur in *completely deterministic* 
systems.  If errors I *cannot* measure result in changes in outcomes I 
*can* measure, in a reasonably deterministic system, then I can say that 
the deterministic system is "chaotic".
I.e., deterministic systems can be disorderly.
