This is a form of anarchy, but I think that in the case of political theory
such a situation should be described as Chaos, and not Anarchy. If we use
Wade's dictionary as the basis for the definition, then anarchy is a
lack of political authority, meaning, in my interpretation, that it is not
just ineffectual, but that it does not exist.

I'm afraid that I'd have to disagree, as for there to be any kind of
state in existance, an Anarchy cannot occur. I feel that you are combining
too many ways for a state to be in a situation of flux, and have only
defined what I would call "Chaos".
(And you'd better agree, otherwise I'll come round your desk and beat you up,
don't forget: I know where you sit ;P)

This is certainly how an Anarchy may take hold, but it is not at that point
"Anarchy".

"The State of Nature", you know :)

But are we, as a people, far too pampered to survive on our instincts. Havn't
we evolved out of them yet?
BTW, Flaps, /please/ don't type in Capitals, it does my head in :)

Polite request:
Does anyone out there use a basic Unix X mailer? If so, how do I configure it
to put a "signature" on the end of my emails (like the one above) as I have
to actually type that each time (sad, I know :). Cheers.
