Yes.  Devils are very convenient postulates when I want to shut down 
truly irrational thoughts: I attribute the thought to a devil from the 
Kingdom of Evil ;), possibly from the Spiritual Disinformation 
Agency ;), which makes it *so* much easier to deconstruct!  This is fully 
consistent with Cognitive Therapy techniques, and actually seems to 
accelerate them.
This works better when working in a reference frame where the above 
beings are concrete entities.
