chpaters 5 and 6 of "The Extended Phenotype." The title of chapter 6 is
"Organisms, Groups and Memes: Replicators or Vehicles?" You might also
want to take a look at chapter 5 of the book he wrote for the Science
Masters series "River Out of Eden: A Darwinian View of Life." Chapter 5
is called "The Replication Bomb."
