Worse than "not very good at it". It's a chaotic system, like the
weather. We can make educated guesses in the short term, but there's just
too many variables to /predict/ very far into the future. We can label
overall trends and adapt our predictions to the current trends, but that's
cheating (but what the hell, I've got nothin' against cheating in the game
of life).
