The odds of drawing to an inside straight are 2:47, assuming it's not a
bottom or a top straight in which case they drop to 1:47 and assuming
I've interpreted inside straight correctly (sequential numbers, same
suit?). The odds of increasing the value of your hand from a pair are
about 1:15 (I think. I've not woken up properly yet).
