Yes, I do believe you are right here, Tony. Those kind of people are
quite rare. I see that as being sort of an effect of what I've been
talking about all along. "To travel is better than to arrive"
Intelligent people like to think, and thinking is inherently travelling;
a journey. But accepting what God has to say in the Bible is not.
(like Jesus sais "/I/ am the way and the Truth and the life") And so the
very act of thinking is sort of antithesis to "faith" and God. He
however is not the first I've run across... there is a chapter from a
book online at my Aunt's site containing correspondence between her and
an "intelligent" theist. You should go read it.
