List,

Abusing truth through patience and irrational beliefs should not lead one to
"suffering abuse" but instead to finding favor with others who abuse. On
the other hand, going the extra distance to see that defensiveness is
pointed out for what it is--wrong thinking--often leaves those who live by
the code of abuse and suffering abuse to see abuse where only good intent
exists.

I will not accept Prof. Tim's labeling my attempts to further a cause
(though perhaps at the discomfort of those who cannot or will not go that
extra step) as abuse. On the other hand, I do think that he has some good
points about including patience and acceptance of various "sources" in an
attempt to foster intelligence...only please stop ABUSING me by calling my
integrity into question in your attempt to make your points (this last thing
said in humor and with the added hope that someone will see how anyone who
attempts to make a point may be misconstrued as making that point at the
expense of what someone else believes).
