Ah- that is not my definition of subliminal at all. (Nor do I think it is
the definition used by subliminal proponents.) Subtexts are just that-
subtexts, capable of being delineated- subliminals are _supposedly_ not
consciously apprehended. I am not in disagreement that most all
advertisements use subtexts, and that such underpinnings are persuasive
elements. I do disagree that there is a concerted, conscious effort to
embed subliminal content, and that such content makes a valid difference
in the behavior of the observer. I do not disagree that such content is
being attempted by a limited crowd. I am fully skeptical about any
influence such attempts may have.
