Actually I have two (although one /was/ an urban legend until I came
across a video posting of the actual news clip). One is a contender
for the annual "Darwin Awards" which is awarded for conspicuous duty to
mankind by removing one's genes from the public pool, and features a story
of a guy, his '67 chevy, a desert highway and some strap-on, solid-fuel
rocket boosters. Very funny if your mind is twisted into 9 dimensions.
The other features an 8-ton beached whale pitted against 2 tons of dynamite.
This is the true one. I have the video clip. Also very funny.
